Electronic conveyancing

Electronic conveyancing

Steele+Co are excited to announce that we’re now providing electronically processed conveyancing, which will result in a more efficient conveyance and provide you with a range of benefits.

Security

Until recently, the accepted processes for conveyancing was slow, at times taking weeks after settlement for the physical lodgement of documents at Land and Property Information – sometimes resulting in a lengthy wait time for your ownership of the property to be registered. Electronic conveyancing ensures your interests are lodged within minutes on the day of settlement, making for a more efficient process.

Fast access to settlement funds

Electronic conveyancing eliminates the need for bank cheques.

If you’re selling a property, this means your settlement proceeds are transferred into your nominated account for immediate access, within minutes of settlement.

If you’re purchasing a property, this means that you will save time in organising relevant cheques as well as in fees associated with ordering often multiple bank cheques.

Time

Steele+Co need only one authorisation from you in order to progress your transaction electronically. As we discuss electronic conveyancing in our initial meeting with you, this can often save you valuable time in further office attendances as well as in our subsequent correspondence to you.

This doesn’t mean that you will see any change in our high level of client service – our experienced team will always keep you up-to-date on the progress of your conveyance, and will continue to work with all parties to achieve the best possible result on your behalf.

Note: All electronic conveyancing is facilitated by Property Exchange Australia (PEXA)
